Scope of Works: The project involved completing 15.16km of urban roads in Lusaka, targeting high-density residential areas to improve connectivity. It included review of designs with focus on terrain challenges, control points, and areas of population growth. The team updated tender documents to reflect revised requirements and provided supervision that ensured drainage improvements, proper pavement layers, safe relocation of utilities, and monitoring of construction safety. A strong quality assurance system was established to ensure that contractors adhered to performance standards
Phase I – Concept Design Review: Reviewed design documents, control points, town section layouts, and terrain challenges. Verified suitability of proposed designs and prepared tender documents.
Phase II – Construction Supervision: Oversaw surveys, materials, geotechnical testing, drainage capacity, and approved engineering drawings. Managed utility relocations, resettlement, and quality control systems
